In order to help out homebound guitar players during this challenging period, I have decided to offer some free one-on-one instruction at no cost. I have taught on Skype for many years and have found it to be a great way to do long-distance lessons, but this is the first time I’ve taught online exclusively. It’s amazing how wonderful it feels to be able to see all of my students each week!
In an effort to share the joy, I have carved out some time on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to donate to those of you who are working on your guitar playing and have questions or need help. Here’s how it will work:
Email me with a request to meet with me for up to 15 minutes. Be sure to let me know if you would prefer to meet on Skype, Zoom or by telephone. If you want a Skype lesson, send me your Skype address, so that I will be able to call you. It’s really easy to Skype, but if you have never done it before, please make sure you have registered and practiced with it, so that we don’t use up your time dealing with technical issues.
If you prefer to use Zoom, just send me the address you want me to use. If you don’t have a good Internet speed or aren’t comfortable using Skype or Zoom, I can definitely help you on the telephone! Just send me your telephone number so that I can call you at your lesson time.
I will reply to your email within 24 hours to let you know if you won a spot that week and on what day and time to expect a call from me. If you did not get your request in soon enough for a lesson, I will put you on the list for the next available free lesson day, unless you cancel your request.
That’s all there is to it! This offer will only run through May, so start thinking about what you want me to help you with. Only one free lesson per person, please, but feel free to spread the word!
